We’re excited to officially launch our brand-new software for automotive workshops, aptly named, Auxo Workshop.

Auxo Workshop has been built, from scratch, in the cloud, with insights from real workshops and the backing and support of MTA. No other workshop software is industry owned, designed, developed and tested with MTA Members.

We are also pleased to announce another feature, a Repco integration, which will be available from launch. This will be a huge time saver for those of our customers who buy parts from Repco.

Terry Allen, CEO, says feedback has been overwhelmingly positive from early customers.

“It’s like a new tool for the business – really smart tech with a slick, simple design interface that sets a new standard for workshop automotive software,” Mr. Allen says.

“It’s rare to see the high level of enthusiasm for a new product, which our beta testing workshops have expressed. It’s fantastic.”

Auxo Workshop has inbuilt data intelligence to make workshop management simple, Mr. Allen says. It includes a digital workshop dashboard, online job management, invoicing and customer reminders. It also integrates with Xero for accounting, and Repco Navigator Pro for parts ordering. More features are rolling out every month.

The intelligence in the software automates job cards and invoicing, reduces manual data entry and frees up the road for workshop managers.

‘Even though Auxo Workshop is a new entrant, the way the product is designed – to actively guide the workshop team at every step – has really struck a chord with users.” Mr. Allen says.

“Currently, Auxo Workshop is suited to smaller workshops that are not using any workshop management software. Features and capability are being added regularly, though, and we expect the new platform to near feature parity with SAM within a year. Many existing customers will be able to start migrating to Auxo Workshop within three to four months and will be delighted by its ease of use. “

The Motor Trade Association (MTA) bought Auxo Software in 2021, in part to help accelerate the development of this software.

MTA President Bob Boniface says: “MTA bought Auxo for three very good reasons; half of MTA members use Auxo software, half of Auxo customers are MTA members, and it was widely recognised that the business needed an owner with the resources to develop a new software platform which would futureproof both Auxo and our customers’ businesses into the next decades.”

Mr. Allen says this relationship gives Auxo Workshop a unique competitive advantage over other workshop software.

“Auxo is special because it’s owned, designed and governed by the very people who use it – workshop owners. Software businesses are often owned by private equity companies that just want to turn a profit and sell up. Not us – we’re motivated by improving our customers’ and MTA’s members’ businesses for the long haul.”
