Did you hear the good news? We’ve brought parts and inventory management to Auxo Workshop! Now users can keep track of stock levels, set up suppliers in their system and order parts straight from their workshop management system. Ordering can be done in a few different ways to minimise admin and maximise flexibility. One option allows users to order low stock directly from the inventory tab, while another lets users order specific parts needed on a job-by-job basis.
“It’s such a great idea to keep track of what we’ve ordered, what’s coming into the workshop, what we haven’t used and what we have on hand,” one Auxo customer said of the new feature. While another looks forward to reducing their time spent on entering parts details, “Finding and entering parts like tires will be so much easier in the system now, compared to how we’ve been doing it.”
While some time needs to be invested to set up parts and suppliers in the system, it’s something that only needs to be done once. Once the information is in there, creating and sending purchase orders, searching for parts and adding them to job cards can all be done in a few clicks. Saving our customers time and a fair few headaches.
“Parts is a great feature! It gives us more control over stock. It’s very handy to have information about my parts in the system. Much improved—it’s definitely making my life easier,” one customer said, stoked with the time they’ve gained back from manually entering part details.
On top of this, we’ve seamlessly integrated Repco Navigator Pro into the system, to make ordering even easier. You can access the Repco catalogue straight from the job card in Auxo Workshop, which will automatically filter the catalogue by car make & model. There’s no need to waste time manually re-entering the details – once you’ve completed your order you can send all the details back to Auxo Workshop with a single click.
The real gem of this new update, however, is how it works with our Smart Templates feature; Auxo Workshop’s golden egg of learning and automation. Smart Templates automatically keep track of which parts you’ve used for specific vehicle make and models historically. It then uses this data to suggest the closest match for future jobs. Essentially, the more you use this new feature, the quicker and easier parts ordering and entering becomes.
Our Auxo Ambassadors (a group of Auxo Workshop customers who trial and test our new features first) have been particularly impressed with this innovation. “The idea of building a catalogue for parts and tires that can be added directly to jobs is fantastic, and the system automatically suggesting parts is going to save us a lot of time.”
One ambassador felt relieved by the opportunity Smart Templates offers, “Honestly, I quite like the idea of the system making automatic suggestions. I hate going on a mission to find one specific blimmen’ tyre for a job, this looks like it will be so much easier. Picking a suggestion straight from the system? I like that.”
