Say hello to Alan, a Customer Implementation Specialist with three and a half years at Auxo under his belt! Alan joined the team as a Support Consultant just before the August 2021 COVID lockdown. Earlier this year, he made the jump across to the role of Customer Implementation Specialist and has enjoyed being involved in a bunch of cool projects since.
A typical day for Alan involves discussing ongoing projects with customers and preparing them for go-live. This job can include anything from system configuration, writing up documentation, to providing their teams with training. He’s also on hand to help the support team with anything that crops up outside of the norm too.
Alan’s main purpose at Auxo is to provide long-term value by ensuring that projects are planned and delivered to a high level of customer satisfaction. As a customer champion, Alan keeps a solid understanding of all project requirements to ensure a fit-for-purpose solution that addresses the customer’s needs.
Some of Alan’s most satisfying moments have been assisting in the training and onboarding of Auxo’s support consultants. He’s also had the pleasure of spending time on-site with our newest customer during their go-live and exploration phases, and helped deliver a smooth transition to Autoline. By addressing any issues in real-time and providing personalised help, Alan made sure the customer felt confident and supported throughout onboarding.
Outside of work, Alan is a passionate Liverpool FC fan and rarely misses a game on TV. Closer to home, he’s also a season ticket holder for the Warriors (“Up the Wahs!”). He also likes to flex his creative side by taking his camera out for night sky photography. It’s not unusual to find him out in a field at 4am, capturing the Milky Way, or on a beach for a golden sunrise or sunset.
As is customary, we had to ask Alan what his dream car would be, and it’s clear he’s given it a lot of thought: “Without doubt the 69’ Fastback Mustang in black jade. I love 60’s American muscle like the Cuda and the GTO. My dream holiday would be traveling Route 66 in a fastback.”
